Please, if you're lookin' for
somethin' to barbeque, you're in the wrong place!
Because goats are
herd animals and therefore social creatures, we require that all
animals purchased from us go to a home where they will have a
companion goat (i.e. doe/wether, doe/doe, wether/wether, buck/wether.....a
doe/buck combination does not count~the doe needs a doe or wether
companion, please).

We are
very conscious of our country's current economy ~ therefore, we
offer our quality, purebred animals at prices that are affordable
for families. We are a small farm and we believe in producing
affectionate animals that are each handled on a daily basis. Our
breeding standards are top-notch and we take pride in what we do.
Because of work schedules that do not allow us to be free on
weekends, we are not in the show ring as much as we would like ~
therefore, we do not have milk records or a wall of show ribbons.
However, our goats still have beautiful kids, produce wonderful and
plentiful milk, and will become loving members of your family. |

10Kitty Farm EM Tanji
SOLD!
TO MIKE IN CANON CITY, CO
Sire: Flat Rocks early Mooner
Dam: Thunder ridge Farm Eula
If you are looking for a loving, calm pet (and she would
probably be able to learn some tricks as well), Tanji
might be the perfect match for you. I am not sure if she
is able to conceive...I had her in with two different
bucks for several months at a time and when preg
checked, she was open both times. She is extremely
friendly and sweet, and a little on the small side, so
I'm thinking she might be best as a pet. It's been a
tough decision but I'm trying to find the perfect
"niche" for her. I really would prefer that she not be
used for breeding purposes, not knowing why she's had
trouble breeding. She is in excellent health, wormed
5/20/09, and was just checked by a vet 5/15/09. If you
have a loving, forever home for her, I'd love to hear
from you. $150

Purebred wether
Born 3/2007
SOLD!
TO MIKE IN CANON CITY, CO
Tan/black buckskin, small, very friendly and sweet. This little guy
would make a great pet for someone who has the time to give him
one-on-one. He does have some small horns that curve down toward
his head so they aren't sharp in any way and he is very
non-aggressive. He has just been wormed and is ready to go. I
would like to find him a home where there is at least one other goat
as he's used to having companionship ~ he was a triplet (brother is
Tacoma). |

Info: |
Kids are, for the most part, dam-raised. Our herd has tested
negative for CAE, and does not have any sign or indication of any
other disease or illness, and we only sell healthy animals.
However, we do not guarantee their health once they leave the ranch. We take pride in our goats and they are well cared for and loved.
Therefore, we will only sell animals to good homes where they will
continue to be loved and treated kindly and not used for meat
production. Please, if you're lookin' for somethin' to barbeque,
you're in the wrong place!
Our wethers get the same quality health and herd management as the
rest of our goats. We know these goats are going to be pets and we
want them healthy, sweet and happy! We offer great breeder support
and provide our new goat owners with continuing information and
instruction.
Our goats are American Goat Society (AGS), Nigerian Dwarf Goat
Association (NDGA), and American Dairy Goat Association (ADGA)
registered and all kids come with AGS forms. Kids are disbudded,
vaccinated, wormed, and hoof-trimmed before going to their
new homes. Each sale includes a feed sample to help transition the
kid to your feed. One of our goals at Big T Ranch is to help you
acquire the goat that best fits your needs, so both of you have a
long and happy relationship. Therefore we do not accept deposits on
unborn kids. We feel that breeding is not an exact science, and the
breeding that looks best on paper might not produce exactly what you
are looking for. For that reason we do not want you, our customer,
to put money down on an animal that might not fit your needs.
Rather, we want you to be able to see the kid you are purchasing,
and have confidence that this is the kid for you!
We maintain a list of our breedings, and who desires what from each
breeding. We will be most happy to put your name down on our list
for the kid of your choice. Most of our kids are sold off this list,
so if you see a breeding you really like be sure to let us know
ASAP. When that kid is born we will email you a picture of that kid.
At that time you may choose to accept that kid or not. If you decide
that you do wish to purchase said kid, a $100 deposit is required to
hold your kid of choice for 30 days while transport is arranged.
Please keep in mind that this deposit is non-refundable! If the
deposit is not received within 7 days the next person on the list
will be offered the animal.
Purchasing Animals
If you would like to purchase an animal we ask for a non-refundable
$100 deposit, paid within 7 days after the sales agreement has been
reached. Your deposit will hold your animal of choice for 30 days,
while transport arrangements are made. Balance of payment is due
within that 30 day period, unless other arrangements have been made.
After 30 days a $2 a day boarding fee will be applied, unless prior
arrangements have been made with us. The full price must be paid
before the animal leaves the ranch. We take payments through PayPal,
money orders, checks (but the check must clear before the animal
moves), or cash at the time of pickup. We understand that sometimes
situations arise and therefore any goat that leaves our farm will
always have a "forever home" with us. We will purchase the animal
back from you for half of the selling price, providing it is deemed
healthy. *NOTE* It is the buyers responsibility to stay in touch with Big T
Ranch. If we do not hear from you after your 30 days deposit period
is over, or for any extended period of time, we reserve the right to
offer said animal for sale again. If the sale is not concluded your
deposit is non-refundable. This has happened several times this
year. Big T Ranch is very easy to work with, but we cannot be
boarding animals indefinitely for customers we haven't heard from.
Boarding charges WILL apply after 30 days.
Terms
Terms are available by special private agreement. Registration
papers will not be issued on animals being paid out until all
animals in the transaction are paid in full. Thanks for your
understanding.
Transportation
Transportation, shipping, and health checks are the responsibility
of the buyer. Transportation is the responsibility of the buyer,
though we will be happy to help when possible. Shipping is available
throughout the United States via several airlines. Actual cost will
be charged for Health Certificates, and a $50 gas charge (Colorado
Springs Airport) or $75 gas charge (Denver Airport) will be charged
if the animal must be delivered to the airport. Animals will be
shipped when we deem them ready. Crates can be mailed to us from the
buyer, or we can purchase a crate for you for the appropriate fee.
Ground transportation is also available. We will meet people up to
150 miles. There will be a base fee of $25.00 plus $0.30 a mile
round trip. |
